Mike Alexander - 1992 Nashville Motor Raceway Champion
Retired from racing, 1983 NASCAR Winston Racing Series National Champion, 1987 finished fifth in the NASCAR Busch Series points with one win, third in points in 1988 with one win. He substituted for the injured Bobby Allison in the Stavola Brothers Winston Cup car in 1988. Alexander received serious head injuries from a crash at Snowball Derby in Pensacola, FL. He attempted a comeback to Winston Cup in 1989 but retired from the series. He went on to win the 1992 Nashville Motor Raceway Late Model Stock Car championship. Alexander owned a successul Nashville SuperTruck team driven by local driver, Jimmy Valentine and today is promoting and supporting his son, Mike Alexander, Jr. for future stardom.
